Do you know who to call if you or a loved one were diagnosed with cancer? Who is the first person you would call if your son told you he was thinking about killing himself? What phone number would you call if you find yourself unable to sleep because of worries and anxiety? What would you do if your aging parent was showing signs of dementia? For all of these situations you could call one number – we are professional problem-solvers.

We are a family and children’s mental health agency, a private non-profit, looking for community partners to bring hope into the lives of the people you interact with. We want to expend our services in a way that touches the heart of Iowa.

Grace C Mae Gilbaugh is our story of hope. Grace was born with multiple congenital anomalies. She was born destined to die. At age four, Grace was diagnosed as the only U.S. citizen with S.T.A.R. Syndrome. Today, she has exceeded all expectations expert physicians gave her. All who meet Grace are touched by her authentic, loving personality and her drive to make the world a better place.

Grace and I (Dr. Patricia Gilbaugh) want to invite you to become a sponsor and support the mission of the Grace C Mae Advocate Center. There are many ways sponsors can become active partners with us. The goal is to raise funding to support the operations of the Grace C Mae Advocate Center, to increase the number of services available in local communities, and train the public about mental health.
